Jennifer Ingham Hunt

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
BOARD MEMBER AT LARGE

Jennifer lives in Saranac Lake with her husband David of 30 years. They have three wonderful children. She had been seeking God for the opportunity to help women facing unplanned pregnancy when she received a call about starting a pregnancy help center. This was truly an answer to her prayer, and she is so excited to help bring the AscentCare Pregnancy Center to the community. Her mission is to love others without judgement and to let them know of their value and worth. Jennifer has been the Executive Director of a local non-profit organization and served on both children’s ministry and worship team. She enjoys spending time in nature, singing her heart out, and listening to podcasts with a good cup of coffee.

“Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” Esther 4:14

Gary VanRiper

CHAIRMAN

Gary has served for sixteen years as Senior Pastor for Camden Wesleyan Church in Camden, NY and for 20 years, he co-authored The Adirondack Kids® book series with his son, Justin. He and his wife, Carol, have three children and five grandchildren. His love for all children, including the most vulnerable among us, the unborn, led him 30 years ago to help co-found CareNet of CNY (originally known as the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Oneida County), now with seven locations. His hope is The Adirondack Pregnancy Center, with headquarters in Saranac Lake, will be the first of several locations to further serve families in need in and around the Adirondack Park.

Craig Seaman

VICE-CHAIR 2019 - 2022

Craig is a six generation Adirondack-er having moved back to Long Lake in 1993. He is married to his wonderful wife, Karen, and they have two sons, Curtis, 22 and Calvin, 19. Craig owns Long Lake Real Estate and has been listing and selling properties in the Adirondacks for over 25 years. He also owns and operates Seaman’s Cabins on Long Lake which have been in the Seaman family for over 100 years. His favorite verse, Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which He has prepared in advance for us to do.” Now is our time to help the helpless!

Julie Valentino

SECRETARY

Julie resides in Malone, NY with her husband, Joe, and two teenaged daughters, Olivia and Natalia. She is a member of the Malone Wesleyan Church and has always loved working with and teaching children. Most recently, she discovered a passion in mentoring younger women to find the freedom that is already theirs in Christ

During her teen years, the Lord instilled in Julie’s heart an intense desire to save the unborn and to lead their moms into truth with love and compassion. For 30 years, she never felt or saw any clear leading from the Lord in what her role would be until she stepped onto the Board of Directors for the APC. Having the amazing opportunity to see that dream realized is only confirmation that we serve a faithful God who equips those He calls in His always perfect timing and way.
